WRED (Weighted Random Early Detection)

WRED (Weighted Random Early Detection) is a network congestion avoidance mechanism that proactively manages queue resources by selectively dropping packets even before the queue is full. It assigns different drop probabilities to different traffic classes, enabling high-priority traffic to have lower drop rates.
